About me

Hi! I’m Daiana Correia, and ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved dolls. I grew up watching my mother lovingly make cloth dolls, and I’ve always enjoyed creating, designing, and crafting things.

In 2008, I decided to learn something I’d been wanting to do since I was a kid: crochet. Some time later, my son and his girlfriend introduced me to the world of Pullip and Blythe dolls, and they sparked a new passion in me. That’s when the idea hit me: why not make crochet clothes and accessories for these dolls?

I started experimenting, coming up with new designs inspired by nature, its beauty, and, most importantly, my family. That’s when I decided to open my little online store.

When I thought about a name for the shop, I realized that I made everything from our little home, where our daughter Juliet is growing up. So, what better name than hers? That’s how My Juliet House was born. If you look at our logo, you’ll see a girl with no mouth. That’s Juliet, and we hope to give her a mouth the day she starts speaking.

Let me tell you a bit more about Juliet. I always dreamed of having a second child, and I wanted her to be our little princess. Juliet was born healthy and happy, a smiling, expressive little girl. But at 18 months, everything changed. She stopped looking us in the eyes, became more serious, and lost her expressiveness. After seeing specialists, she was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Since then, we’ve never stopped fighting to give her the best quality of life possible. Juliet is now 13 years old. She still doesn’t speak, but she communicates a lot through gestures and has regained her smile. She’s a very happy girl, but we still have a long way to go. Our dream is for her to be as independent as possible and to live her life without needing to rely on others.

This is a very personal part of my life, and it was hard for me to share it. I just want you to feel the love and dedication I put into every piece I make. Everything I earn from my work goes toward my daughter’s treatments. That’s why, with each order, I’ll include a handmade blue heart that represents Juliet and everyone with autism around the world, made with the same love as the handicrafts you’ve purchased.

Welcome to My Juliet House! I hope you enjoy my creations.
